The location and the size of the apartment. It really is bigger than it looks in the pictures. The beds are comfortable and larger than typical double beds.
I would prefer a check out later than 10 am. But, that seems to be the norm and not property specific. There are no complaints from us for our stay. Everything was great especially for the price point.

A very nice property and lived up to the photos that were presented in the ad very well. There was lots of room, two bedrooms, two baths, living room and small kitchen. The AC worked well the beds were comfortable and it was nice to stay in an apartment that had character and some history.
The apartment was nice and clean and all the appliances like dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker etc. worked well.
Staff were very pleasant at check in and on time to meet us when we arrived. They were also excellent in correspondence anytime I wrote them with questions.
Our Apartment was on the first floor, two flights of stairs very wide and risers not high. There is an elevator, but was not working while we were there. It might be an issue for some, but for us it was not an issue. Amazing huge door that let you in from the street into the lower foyer.
The location was excellent only maybe a 3 min. walk to the Academia and maybe 4 min. to the Duomo. There was some nice restaurants right on the same street and also a small market that had everything you would need only a few doors down the street towards the Duomo and a pharmacy just around the corner.
We enjoyed our stay here very much and we always looked forward to escaping the heat when the temperature was reaching in the low 30-33C, as our apartment had three AC units.
We would definitely chose First in Florence if we get the opportunity to visit this wonderful city again.
There was nothing not to like as to our concerns.

Location is fantastic. Room spacious. Beautiful main entrance of a 17c building.
I asked for two sets of blanket as I travel with my family and we would like to have separate blankets. The hotel’s response was terrible and even if it was cold at night they wouldn’t provide extra blankets. Terrible terrible attitude. PLUS - no room cleaning, no luggage keeping after check out. The washing machine didn’t work at all.
