Good value for money, but can definitely improve guest experience with a few small personal touches.

Proximity to the beach

Limited amenities. Nothing to light the gas stove with, empty lighter and matchbox. No bowls when we wanted to eat breakfast. No filters for coffee machine.

It’s fine. Good place to sleep.

The proximity to the beach is nice ~ it’s about a 20 minute walk into paraty town and due to a lot of rain many roads were closed which made getting Ubers or taxis difficult. But it’s a nice location. The property feels safe and secure and there are a lot of good bars and restaurants near by. It’s a good place to sleep if you’re able to be out all day. Has aircon both in the loft and bed room when working properly and a large floor fan.

Due to the rain we were inside a lot more than we’d had hopped which makes for some of the cons to be a bit more prevelant. The aircon was dripping really bad, possibly because of the extreme rain? The fridge was also not running cold. I notified management and hopefully they have resolved it. The space was not quite as polished as it appeared in pictures and the shower never got hot, only luke warm. The mosquitos were also quite bad again possibly worse than usual due to the rain. The kitchen did not have any bowls or chopping board. It’s fine but was a let down compared to the pictures. Management are kind and responsive though.

Lovely well equipped chalet in a quiet neighborhood

Property is quiet and beautiful with nice gardens and patio. The kitchen was very well equipped. Dining room and living room were comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Deck was nice to sit on.

Some of the interior is a bit dated.
