Location. It was clean and the owner was really friendly.
You could hear the upstairs TV really clearly from our room and it was a bit annoying late at night when we were trying to sleep. There were very few PowerPoints and they weren’t in very convenient spots.

The location of the motel is excellent - the main street is just a block away and a cut-through at the back of the motel goes through to the wharf and various bars and restaurants. The managers were friendly, efficient and helpful. The unit was equipped with everything we needed and the folder of information was especially good.
We were expecting two beds in one bedroom but the second bed was in the living area, which was a little cramped. Because we were in the front unit we got a bit of road noise (loud motorbikes especially), though there's nothing the managers can really do to fix this. We were glad we'd been warned about the loud fire siren - again, this is beyond the ability of the managers to fix. This is an older motel so the parking spaces aren't built for some of today's enormous vehicles and when one of these parked outside the next-door unit it affected the room we had to sit outside.

Location was great
Shower was old, touchy as and had spiderwebs overhead. Some windows couldn't close. Pot lids from previous guests were filthy. We stayed multiple nights and expected towels to be changed etc but towels were just left outside our door and felt damp when we arrived back.
