This chalet exceeded all expectations! Lots of room, excellent sauna, nicely stocked pantry with wine, beer and some snacks. It’s magical when all the tourists leave and you remain on top of the mountain in utmost privacy. Make sure to try the meats from the farmers.
The famers cheese shops closed around 3:00 but also sold out of cheese earlier so make sure to scout them out early.

Avontuur om bij het huisje te komen, geweldige ligging en het huisje is van alles voorzien wat je nodig hebt. Uitzichten zijn geweldig!

Great location, modern interiors (recently rebuilt)
Ice cold water on day one of the stay (the host fixed it on day two), water is not suitable for drinking (even after boiling - Is is rainwater with a chemical taste and it thickens while boiling) so we had to buy mineral water and use it for cooking/ drinking (it should have been provided), no internet service (the appt description says it would be provided and we picked the location based on it, spent half a day trying to fix it and the speed was 14kbs, so useless) Couch on ground floor is extremely uncomfortable and the separate room only fits one person (or a parent with a kid). It is difficult to reach the chalet (especially when it is raining) and you have to carry all necessary things and food.. or buy canned food from chalet. Other owners can go there with a car and that would be the best solution but not avaialable.
