About this house rental

Situated in Oak Island, this lovely house for $805 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. OCEANFRONT WITH PRIVATE POOL!   6BR/5BA - BR1: 2 Bunks (4T), BR2:1Q, BR3: MSuite 1K with private bath, BR4: 1K with bath, BR5:1Q, BR6:1K with bath. Built in 2020, Sun Salutation is a 6 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom home that sleeps up to 16. Five of those bedrooms face the ocean, so pretty much everybody is going to wake up to the sound of ocean waves! Three of the bedrooms are suites with king-sized beds and private bathrooms (featuring dual rain-head showers), so it’s perfect for two or three families to share a week at the beach, while still ensuring that everybody has their own space. We also have a bedroom with twin bunk beds (perfect for kids), two other bedrooms with queen-sized beds, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. The top (3rd) floor is a stunning great room with amazing ocean views, a large kitchen with island, and a dining area. The 1st floor features a second living area that opens onto a deck with an elevated salt water pool! We didn't want the other floors to be jealous, so they have decks too -- the perfect place for enjoying that cup of coffee while the sun rises. Don't want to take the stairs to all those floors? You don't have to, as the home features an elevator that accesses all levels. Sun Salutation is located near the middle of Oak Island, so you are close to everything the island has to offer -- golf, kayaking, restaurants, and much more! The Ocean Crest Fishing Pier is just a half-mile away. Oh, did we mention that you’ll have your own private access to the beach, just steps from the back door? If you happen to get tired of all of the great outdoors activities, there's high-speed Internet access with wifi and 4K TVs in all of the bedrooms and living areas, including a 70" widescreen TV in the great room! If there's a chill in the night air, the great room also features a fireplace to keep you warm. Please note that our property is 100% nonsmoking and that pets are not allowed. The house was great. The only issue we had was that the washer was full of mold when we arrived ( we had travelled for 4 days prior so had clothes that needed washing). I spent about an hour scrubbing the inside with bleach as well as removing the soap drawer and cleaning the mold covered parts in the sink. I then had to run the clean cycle with bleach a few times in order for it to be usable. Still not great though. Rental agency did nothing when I told them except to say they would tell the owner. They should have given me some credit or the pool heating for free or reduced cost for my trouble.
