Hot and loud

Location is great!

The unit was so hot even with our personal room fan. The unit is right by the alley where the dumpster is. So when the dumpster was picked up at 6am on Friday is was very shocking. As well as every step others took up the stairs could be heard.

Would have stayed longer if I could. Would definitely consider this for a long term extended stay.

Apartment was very nice, good furniture, cool little garden out back. Complete set of appliances, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and clothes dryer. Excellent, right in the middle of town. So many things within easy walking distance (including some great restaurant.) Air-conditioning worked extremely well, keeping the apartment cool even as the temperatures were very hot.

Free parking was very limited and paid parking very expensive. You could hear people walking around in the apartment above. Could have used a real desk.

I’ll definitely want to stay again!

The location was great! I loved the modern/vintage look of everything. It truly showed the beauty of the history of the island. The entire apartment was beautifully furnished. My favorite was the bed…I honestly loved that bed more than my own!!!

There wasn’t a fan in the bedroom.

Great, clean location but parking is an issue.

I loved the area and the apartment was very clean.

I did not like the fact that parking is an issue and there is only one handicap parking spot dedicated to this area. This was not listed in the booking description. I also thought it was strange to not have simple items in the kitchen like salt and pepper.

Exceptional

The location was perfect. The apartment was roomy and very nice.

The high bathtub and the stairs leading up to the apartment. No handhold in the bathtub/shower. The unit is not handicap accessible. With that said, I would stay here again and again.

Perfect location, as everything we wanted to do was within a 10 minute drive. Easy access into the building and apartment. Loved the spacious layout and exposed brick. Comfortable bed. Huge bath tub.

The apartment was generally clean, but if you’re going to charge a cleaning fee, please ensure that the floors are swept and mopped and the rug is vacuumed. I used the swiffer to quickly clean up our sand from the beach, and the swiffer pad was filthy with much more than sand when I finished. The rug in the living room was dirty overall.

LOVED the apartment!

The apt was perfect inside. and made me feel like i was in an apt in new york! it was spotless. beds were comfy. Just really loved the place and the location for our purposes.

We were there on the weekend (friday and sat night). the street noise, people leaving late / bars etc in downtown.

It was ok

I like the fact that there was alot of fun activities to do around there. Definitely was a busy street

I didnt like the fact that it didn't have private parking. And we had to clean the place alittle when we got there, there was pieces of food under the table and around it. There was also big roaches. But other than that it was decent

Great location to walk around downtown Galveston, very clean and feels safe.

The unit is in an awesome location on The Strand. It’s a nice little apartment that has all you need to cook and stay comfortably and is appropriately priced. The area felt safe, snd the host is responsive, and everything was clean!

They put a $300 hold on your method of payment, so be aware. That needs to be more clearly disclosed just like the cleaning fees and taxes upfront for more informed decisions. If you’re on a ground unit, you can easily hear the people above you if they’re running around or moving things. I could hear the people’s conversations that were outside walking on the sidewalk outside of the unit. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable in the unit I rented. It folded out into a futon-like sleeping structure.

Perfect location, gorgeous apartment.

The studio apartment was stunning and right in the middle of town. The location was absolutely perfect. I was traveling alone, but I felt very safe.

My apartment was right by the road, so there was quite a lot of street noise. There is no hotel parking. However, I had no problem finding street parking, which is free overnight. I was out doing things during the day, so this was not a big deal.

Spacious and a Perfect location in the Strand! Great restaurants and the Grand 1894 Opera House within walking distance. Beautiful, relaxing patio area

No deal breakers It would be a bonus to have ice ready and maybe a few waters in the fridge

the location and the security to get inside the building and room.

only thing was the pictures that are shown on the website are of all units available, however you do not know which room you will be getting until day of check in, and not all are set up the same or have the same amenities!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and the location was great.

The location was excellent, and it was great to be able to walk everywhere. The bed was really comfortable and the Space and amenities were nice.

The Living area furniture was not comfortable and there was not a solid table to set anything on except for the breakfast table. Also the giant window in the sitting area let light in from the street all night and there were no darkening shades.

Price was a little high for the construction out front and no parking.

very nicely appointed and extremely clean. location was great! close enough to the Strand but without the congestion.

parking wasn’t great but that was only because of the city blocking the street parking in front of the building.

A great deal: one of the most amazing locations and properties in Galveston!

host was accommodating and the property was easily accessible. wonderful location- walking distance to strand and many shops,bars, restaurants etc. I absolutely loved the layout: modern, above and beyond amenities and a great price for the value!
