Good stop off location if you are biking Bologna <~> Venice via the water ways. General area around the Refugio is splendid.

You are really getting a bare bones stay. Clean enough, but little to no service. There is nothing other than a bar in close proximity. A reservation at a restaurant nearby is strongly recommended. (Gorino is roughly 1 km away.) Without a reservation, you might end up without dinner. The bar in Gorino is a fallback, when you just need to eat. If you want anything more that the basic amenities, even a bit of ambiance, you might want to try booking elsewhere nearby.

Rifugio is comfortable, cozy and has everything you need, anti-mosquito, air conditioner, great breakfast - we felt really cared for. The host lady is very nice and made us feel right at home. A local bar nearby has a true Italian vibe and is a must stop for an evening drink. 10/10

Beautiful surroundings, bird life, beaches, lagoons... The Rifugio Gorino Sullam is excellent value for money for those who love to immerse themselves in nature. You can even cook there, the kitchen is equipped well and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it highly - especially in May with few moskitos and the songs of the nightingales everywhere. It's simply paradise for bird lovers.

The single bed could have been slightly larger.
