Spacious, could wander about to the kitchen dining. Property was clean and relaxing. Microwave available. No stovetop. Big fridge. Shopping centre near by. Easy to get bus to Nara park.
Double bed small for 2 people.
Bedroom was small. Half hour walk to train station with luggage.

Owner is friendly, possible to check in early
No lockers so if you want to leave valuable items not Ideal. The dormant curtains do not completely close so there isn't much privacy but it's fine for just sleeping.

Search for Sasuruka Sasuranka Ramen place on Google map. Amazing.
The water in the sink to wash up was cold. I didn't check the shower. Public bath was very close. 480 yen

Was very clean and close to a train station
We had booked twin beds (mum travelling with teenage child) but were given one double bed. The desk was unattended when we arrived and we had to phone the emergency number even though I’d confirmed our arrival time that day. Was a bit stressful.
Had hoped for a more traditional style room but it was just carpeted and a regular double bed. Toilet was clean and ok. To access shower you needed to go outside.
Very much a hostel and probably good if this is what you’re looking for. Definitely good budget option.
