Very relaxing location! House very clean, Hosts were very helpful with questions and kept in touch during the stay. Reminded me of visits I made to my Grandparents when I was young. The lake was so relaxing. Across the lake is the State Park where you can rent canoes or walk trails. The town is very close and has everything you should need (gas, stores, restaurants, ice cream). We would definitely book the location again if we are back in the area. Location is peaceful and quiet.

Our recent 8-night stay at the Echo Lake Cottage was an absolute delight! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to Jana and Tammy our Host’s prompt and friendly communication. They even allowed us to check in early after a long drive, which was greatly appreciated. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described, with stunning views of Echo Lake that made every day a truly relaxing delight.The location is a perfect balance of serene and convenient, just a short drive to downtown Presque Isle for supplies or dining, yet peaceful enough to feel like a true escape. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to board games that kept us entertained with our grandkids. This was our second stay here and it won’t be our last if the cottage is available on our next trip. The cottage is a true gem, perfect for families looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We had an amazing time. Fishing is great. Close to town for supplies. House is very roomy and very nice! We are planning on doing it again!!
