Residence Inn by Marriott Wilkes-Barre Arena

The atmosphere around the property was a perfect pick. Walking into the hotel you are greeted with an amazing open area with plenty of seating. The outside area is something I’ve never seen it add a little touch like you are home. Me and my wife absolutely loved it.

Beautiful property. Well kept, clean and updated. Rooms were very spacious. Pool facilities and breakfast were great.

It was easy to find. Staff was friendly.

The hotel allowed for a dog to sit at the table at breakfast and eat off silverware that humans use. Completely unacceptable. There are policies even for service dogs that the hotel should be aware of. It is unsafe abs unsanitary for animals to share specific items with humans. The dog was close to the food, eating with a fork and sitting on the same chair with humans as if he was one. The staff was really nice and informed me it was nothing they can do about the dog because it’s a service dog however the hotel should research this topic for they still have to abide by the rules and regulations of the hotel. I will not be staying here in the future although the space was nice.
