huge apartment, great views of a the surrounding farms, sunset and valley of the kings lighting at night, lovely swimming pool. only four apartments. simple traditional breakfast served poolside. lots of lawn chairs near the pool. pool well maintained. huge rooms and furniture for sitting on in a living room. three private balconies that wrap around three sides of the apartment. only one apartment per floor. easy access to tombs and temples with ride hailing apps.
for my entire four night stay the WIFI was essentially unusable for anything other than messaging and checking email. the host blamed the internet service provider. the roof was advertised as having a washing machine, the hookup was visible in the room but it was not installed. the host offered to clean five pieces of laundry. the local farm machines and water pumps can be very loud, very early in the morning. there are no window seals and large gaps that gusts of air to rush into all rooms of the apartment. My first night despite the AC on full blast for hours the room didn't drop below 30 degrees. its about a 10 minute walk down a dirt road to the nearest shop to buy water and restaurant. numerous water cuts, need to push a button to get water working again.

The staff was friendly - good bang for your buck for a guest house/air bnb type housing. Very clean and good breakfast.
The owner let us check out later which was a bonus. The other owner took us on a farmer walking tour showing us some local crops like banana, mangoes and wheat etc. Owner also drove us to airport (for a cost) last minute which was great! Thank you

Huge apartment. Comfortable. Staff very accommodating and friendly
They will order in food and drink for you if you want. Otherwise restaurants are a 5-10 min walk (or 50 Egyptian Pound taxi ride) away
