It was modern and spacious at a good price. It was right in the center so it was easy to walk to most places.
The host did a good job at explaining how to get to the apartment and all the locks that were there.
The entrance was located at a party street with several pubs. At night there were drunk people at the street and at the gate to the apartment (the gate was locked at night).
This was never a problem for us, we didn’t mind and the people were friendly but just a note to people who don’t want this. This was a weekend so maybe not so much party on the week days.

- Very central location, everything was reached by walking.
- Many restaurants, bars and other stuff around.
- Spacious apartment.
- Noisy surroundings.
- If you keep opened windows smell of trash comes up from the outside.
- Sofa bed was broken, so sleep was poor (need to fix it).

The apartment was BIG, roomy with large windows.
So… there was no coffee machine. For us it’s a dealbreaker, especially when you have to get up at 5 to go to the airport. You need coffee. This was our second apartment in Riga that we booked and there was no coffee machine.
The entrance to the apartment was kinda shady. For us was ok but I don’t recommend it for families with small kids.

Location and the size of the apartment
The view from windows and the smell in the bathroom and needs a bit of character to apartment, now its like a nice blank page.
