A peaceful spacious rural farmhouse property that was just perfect for our needs. Rustic meets modern in a balanced fashion. Loads of space for the dogs and absolutely ideal for their needs. The host was fantastic, great communication, and provisions provided on arrival. Greeted us and made sure we were comfortable with the property. Definitely on our revisit list.

Fantastic hosts and perfect location for us due to family living close by. The property was very homely and had all the facilities we could wish for on a family staycation. Amazing log fire for quiet cosy evenings. Loved the farm house character and the countryside. Really impressed with the hosts communication and how accommodating they were, we will certainly be returning!

The hosts were very welcoming. They let us know they were on hand if needed. And showed us everything we needed to know and then left us to a very peaceful stay.
The house itself is beautifully done. We easily felt comfortable and relaxed. The log fire was great and was stacked well, so we never ran out. The bath in the bedroom was a luxurious touch, which was really nice. The place looks even better than the pictures show.
We would definitely stay again. It was a lovely way to spend our Christmas. Thanks for having us.

Loved the fact that although the house had been renovated many of the original features such as the red & black floor tiles throughout had been retained. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs, and there was a nice easily accessible garden and decking - important for our disabled dog!
Would have liked 100% secure fencing around the garden - we were quite fearful that our dogs would get through the metal fence rails to join their goat “neighbours” or through the hedge to the outside world. That’s partly because the breed we have can be determined escape artists and there were tempting - albeit not hugely obvious - gaps in the fencing. They didn’t manage to escape, but needed close supervision to prevent repeated efforts!
