Perfect location to stay in Schönau, specially for hiking. 15 min walk to the lake, and easy reach to good hikes. The room was big enough and comfortable. The balcony very welcoming as well. The bed was comfortable to sleep. The bathroom is a little antique but charming. The shower was excellent! The breakfast was complete and delicious, with orange juice, great coffee and fresh eggs.
The lady in charge is super charming and helpful, lovely woman. I would go back for sure!
Only two things: the pillow of the bed was uncomfortable (too small/ flat). The WiFi would not work so well in the room.

The lady that runs the place is super nice! The house is beautiful and cozy and is just walking distance from the Königssee. The breakfast is really nice as well! We stayed with our 2 dogs and really enjoyed our stay.
The bed was a bit noisy

Wonderful view from the room, great location within walking distance of Konigsee. Breakfast lovely and the host was great. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.
Bathroom was very cramped but everything worked and it was only a minor negative given the wonderful location and spacious bedroom.

The host, Elena, was super friendly. The room was very clean. We enjoyed that breakfast was included.
The beds were uncomfortable- old mattresses where we could feel the springs, and loud squeaks with every movement. The walls were thin, so we could hear conversations out on the hall and the room next door.
There was no mini fridge or kettle with tea/coffee facilities in the room.
If there has been a kettle (or even shared coffee/team making facilities) and a mini fridge in the room it would have made a big improvement on our stay. Please consider updating the mattresses.
