Fantastic location for walking into Barnard Castle. Easy self check in. Property is well equipped and is great for dogs. Beds are comfy as well. Welcome milk and wine a great touch.
Smaller bedroom would benefit from a black out blind or curtain as it was quite bright until later on at night. Larger family bathroom we felt would benefit from a deeper clean especially around the shower.

The property was comfortable, warm and cosy. It was incredibly well equipped, lovely fire for a winter break and very good wifi. The beds were comfortable and the house felt like a home from home. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend this property. Also, Barnard Castle itself is a lovely market town, lots of lovely cafes and pubs, lots do in the surrounding area and it was lovely and festive in the town for Christmas/new year celebrations with beautiful trees and beautifully decorated shops.

The property was wonderful. Spacious, clean, and homely.
It was clean and very well stocked with everything you need for a self catering stay.
Beds were comfortable and everything was just so easy.
The host was super responsive and looked after us making sure that we would have a fantastic stay.
