The oldest member of our family group has mobility issues so the accessible en suite room was great for them. The en suite bathroom was spacious and made it easy to assist with showering, etc. The whole lodge was warm, spotless, and comfortable. The site was full of families but never felt crowded or noisy, and the location and scenery of Ullswater is hard to beat.
Our more able bodied family members loved being able to walk with the dog to Pooley Bridge along the lake path.
The enclosed garden was great for our dog
