Beautiful scenery with in reach of the Ceder Mountains. The restaurant served exellent food. We picked up trouble with a burst tire on the road and Mount Ceder staff were very helpful.
When I booked on your website it did not make it very clear that we booked a chalet that has a fully equiped kitchen.

This was our second stay at Mount Cedar and the location is absolutely beautiful. The setting in the Cederberg is stunning and the accommodation has a very special atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings and the nature are what made us come back after our first visit.
Unfortunately, this time not everything was as good as we remembered. Some of the towels and pillowcases had visible stains, possibly from sunscreen, which made them look unclean. While this alone would not have been a major issue, it did take away a bit from the overall experience.
What disappointed us more was the food. The dinners were quite expensive (around 450 Rand per person), which set a high expectation. Unfortunately the quality did not match the price. For example, the hake fillet looked and tasted as if it had been prepared earlier and simply reheated. It lacked freshness and texture and was quite disappointing for the price level.
