A quaint little place with lots of amenities in the area. If you dont want to eat out, the kitchen has the things you need to make home cooked food. Very clean. A nice parking area for those who rent. The host was amazing to work with. The communication was top notch. The host is very accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful first time experience.

We visited Ames to see a basketball game, and this charming VRBO near downtown Ames was the perfect home base for our trip! While the house retains its historic character, it's been beautifully maintained and offers all the modern amenities we needed. The layout was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, making it feel much larger than expected. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, complete with a Keurig and a variety of coffee flavors – a great touch! The smart TV was also a bonus for relaxing after a day out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Ames!

We were led to believe we would have the whole house. The people upstairs were extremely noisy between 10:00 pm and 2:00 am: loud talking, loud music. Turing water off and on. Our place was not very clean and the kitchen lacked basic cooking items. Not even pot holders. The garage needed swept out.
