The location is very nice with amazing views across Lake Como. The area is very local and away from the crowds in Varenna which we liked. We had dinner and breakfast at the local cafe - the only one available - but the food was very good, and seeing the locals meeting there on a regular basis was so nice. The apartment was very comfortable with most amenities available and the views were next to amazing. The fact there was free parking nearby was a bonus also.
The apartment is very comfortable however we did have some issues with the wifi being very sporadic and not really worth using. The shower was interesting in that both the bath tap and the shower rose ran at the same time - we were not able to convert to one or the other, and the water became cold after a short period. We also suggest the tapparelle (screen) in the bedroom is repaired as we were unable to block the light out during sleep, and please provide some coffee if you are going to provide a coffee machine. Small things that would have made the stay 110%

Lovely host, beautiful views, immaculately clean quirky apartment.
It’s a bit of a juggle to get there by day a steep one hour walk or infrequent buses. However by night there is a free shuttle bus on demand and luggage ca be stored at the railway station until 7.30 pm for 5 Euri

Stunning view. We got there to rest after a long ride on our motorbikes. There was everything that we needed. Grocery really close, and a excellent local bar. Monica was lovely. Even took us from Varenna up the hill after we got few aperols 😁
A little warm there, even an additional bigger fan will be appreciated next time.

Uitzicht
Er is geen privé parkeergelegenheid ondanks dat wij de boeking expliciet op parkeergelegenheid hebben geselecteerd. Daarentegen moesten we een hele klim doorstaan om bij het appartement te komen. Niet fijn. Ja, we mochten € 25 00 per nacht daarvoor betalen. Nee, bedankt. De parkeerplaatsen (Zie foto) zijn altijd bezet.
