Situated in Pleasant Valley, this attractive condo for $95 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Spend some relaxing time staying at our historic building on the Mississippi River in Hampton, Illinois. We have a spacious deck facing the river for that morning coffee with a Tiki bar for those afternoon and evening cocktails with beautiful sunsets. Fish off the pier. Bring your boat, kayak, canoe or jet-ski (there is a boat ramp a mile away) and spend the day on the river or at the sand bar beach a mile and a half downstream. Bring your bicycles because The Great River Trail bike path is literally right out the front door. There is a beautiful 33 acre park about 7 blocks south with an 18 hole Frisbee golf course. Illiniwek Park is just a half mile away with nature/hiking trails. As part of the Greater Quad Cities, Moline, Rock Island, Davenport and Bettendorf are only a few minutes away. Just 4 miles from I-80 and 14 minutes from TPC at Deere Run golf course. Winters are nice here too. Bald eagles are usually the most active during January and February. This is a duplex (up and down) and we live on the top floor, so we are on site. This is a quiet neighborhood with limited parking, so parties/gatherings need to be low key. If you are here visiting friends or family and want to have a few people over that’s fine. Rentals are only for the registered guests to stay though.

We had a fabulous time and loved the history of the building! Everything was clean and the hospitality was on point. They even left dog treats for our pup. Highly recommend this gem!

We wanted to get away to relax, decompress and enjoy nature. We were right on the river, close to a forest preserve, and there was a park nearby to walk the dog. Mike and Monica were fantastic and there to greet us. We would certainly stay there again.

Loved how nicely decorated and clean everything was . Mike and Monica were amazing host and answered any questions we had . Super nice people and can’t wait to go back in the Summer for hopefully a couple more days. Really enjoyed our visit Jeff and Kathy and Zeus . Lots of room for him to play🐾❤️🥰

We enjoyed our stay. Very homey and relaxing and we enjoyed learning about the history of the place. Good recommendations for restaurants as well. Can't think of anything missing during our stay.

I wish there were more stars in the rating system, thats how nice this place is! Mike really put in some time redoing this little place and its just perfect for what we needed it for. Coffee on the deck watching the sun rise or sunsets and a cocktail in the evening were gorgeous. The place is amazing!

Mike and Monica's historic Hampton Home exceeded all of our expectations. The property is so interesting and has so much whimsy and fun. It was very difficult to leave. this is the best equipped home we have ever stayed in and we will be back and we will tell our friends about the place. Thank you so much for a memorable time.

Photos reflect a true representation of the unit. I had everything I needed. I cried when I had to leave. The deck on the river is so nice and I really, really enjoyed the place immensely. Mike and Monica were always there to help with any issue or concern that may rear it's head. I enjoyed soooo much, all my best to Mike and Monica, and I;ll be back soon.

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. It truly was one of the best places we have ever used for this type of 3-4 day stay we were on. Host are amazing and extremely accommodating. The place is so comfortable, cozy, very well decorated and the river view from the outdoor deck is truly amazing!! You are literally right on the river but it looks like a lake from this location. Location has very easy access to anywhere you want to go in the area. Great place to entertain another couple or two. Just beautiful! We are saving it as a favorite for sure and will go back. Everything was truly perfect at this place....

We can't say enough good things about this wonderful rental in Hampton, with a great view of the Mississippi River. The historic building is so charming and the decor is fun! The bed is comfortable and water pressure is great. The deck in back is private and has comfortable seating. Owner Mike was very nice and available for our needs, even though we had none. We will definitely rent here again, when in the area!

This property was perfect for us. Comfortable with indoor and outdoor places to hang out. Comfy furniture and bed, plenty of towels. They thought of everything for your comfort and convenience. And the location is great for biking and hiking, plus close to restaurants and things. We'll be back!

This place has some cool history! Perfect location! Close to everything you would need but yet on a quiet street. Property manager is so nice and thoughtful! He provided info about the area and some good restaurants to check out. Best of all is the view!!

Last minute booking for a little getaway. This is a new favorite. The craftsmanship of this site is appreciated. The introduction and history provided at check in set the stage. The weather was beautiful and we spent many hours on the deck. From cooking breakfast on the grill until the evening cocktails at the tiki bar. This unique rental was well maintained and equipped for our every need. We look forward to our next visit here!

Located right on the Mississippi River and very close to biking and walking trails. Michael was a great host and the check in process was quick and easy. He and his wife have converted this old, historic general store to a very attractive and fun apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay. Michael was very kind and friendly. We felt very much at home. Access to many things in the area including hiking, biking, parks, shopping, etc. Neighbors were very kind. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at this property. If i could give it 6 stars, i would! Communication with Mike & Monica was excellent! Whenever we had a question, Mike was very quick to respond. This property is very clean and extremely comfortable. We went hiking on some good trails at Illiniwek Forrest Preserve, which was right across the road. It was beautiful weather, so we also spent time on the back deck, playing cards and just watching the barges go by. This was our 2nd stay at Mike & Monica's and i know we will be back.

What a gem this place is. Perfect for R&R when you need downtime. Everything was as pictured. Host was informative and generous, and the cleanliness of the space was excellent. Next time will be returning to take advantage of the outdoor deck as weather was a bit chilly to do so this time around. Decor adds to the ambience and gives character and charm ...adding to the experience.

The house was very clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The place is decorated very nicely. Within 15 minutes there are many restaurants, shopping places and attractions. The owner is on site and very helpful, but we only saw him at check in. I am sure if we needed something he would have been great help. We would stay again if we were in the area.

I highly recommend this property. The decor is very unique in this historic building. It is located close to LeClaire,IA shopping. We spent a very comfortable cozy weekend here. The host has thought of everything that his guests may need.

This was a very charming property. The owner met us and gave us a quick update on facility. Nice and cozy. Really love being right on the River. Got to watch several barges pass right outside the back door. We will definitely be back.

We were met on-site by the owner, which was a nice touch. We appreciated that he showed us around and familiarized us with the amenities at the property. The outdoor bar is a real highlight, any time of day or night. The neighbors were very friendly as well! If you plan to do any cooking during your stay, the kitchen is well-stocked and you’ll have a full-size fridge plus mini-fridge. We’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this was absolutely one of the best!

Love this property and everything about it. Mike and Monica are the best. They created a beautiful inviting stay at their place on the river. The home is comfortable and historic. They did an excellent job remodeling this historic building. Mike greeted us when we arrived and shared the history of the home. We loved it. We had another great stay here. It was beautiful weather and a great opportunity to have family stop by and relax along the river. Perfect accommodations for our visit to the Quad Cities for our family reunion. Thank you again for being wonderful hosts.
