We spent three nights in October at Di Colle in Colle. The setting and all staff were all wonderful, accommodating, and all went out of their way to make sure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Giulio is incredibly hardworking and dedicated, and it was a pleasure to see how well he treats his staff and guests. It is a family enterprise well worth supporting and helping to grow. His red wine was the only red wine that did not result in red blotches on my wife's face, due to the minimal presence of sulfites. I hope that we can return in the future with more members of our family!
The last bit of road there was a bit challenging for the hybrid rental car, but was quite doable once we did it the first time.

Abbiamo passato qui una parte del nostro viaggio di nozze e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti. La struttura è in un paradiso di boschi, vigneti e dolci colline con vista sul lago, la stanza arredata con stile rustico ma molto fine ed elegante. Abbiamo anche mangiato diverse sere al ristorante e apprezzato tutto, dalla fantastica millefoglie di patate al dolce cremoso al cioccolato bianco. Per non parlare del ricco e squisito buffet della prima colazione (ottimo lo yogurt, la frutta di stagione, il pane casereccio, le uova e bacon e i biscotti e le torte fatti in casa), del vino e dell'olio di cui abbiamo comprato alcune bottiglie da regalare alle nostre famiglie... Personale gentile, attento e al tempo stesso amichevole e cordiale. Speriamo di poter tornare presto!
