The Neighborhood: Horseshoe Bay is an amazing community located in the Texas hill country and is about 1 hour from Austin, 2.5 hours from Houston and 3 hours from Dallas. One of the highlights is certainly Lake LBJ, as it is one of only 2 constant level lakes in the area. But Horseshoe Bay, has so much more to offer. There are over 8 golf courses within 15 miles. Fredericksburg and all the hill country vineyards are within an hours drive of the property. Horseshoe Bay Resort has become a large draw with fun events and concerts as well as weddings. Marble Falls is 15 minutes away and has a lot of the fun restaurants, bars and night life. Getting Around: A car is the preferred method of transportation in the Texas hill country and Horseshoe Bay. Other Things to Note: -- Policies -- - No smoking - Must be at least 25 years old to book - Pets are allowed with written permission only. Any pets or animals brought onto the property without approval will be subject to a $1,000 dollar fee. There is a maximum of two pets and the Pet Fee is $150 per pet. Please keep your pet on a leash at all times other than inside this property. - Please avoid using glass tableware or glass bottles near the lake - Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am, please be mindful of these restrictions - Safety Notice: Your safety matters. This was my wife and I's second stay at this lovely condo on the lake. The condo itself is comfortable in every way; it is the kind of place that feels like home. Open floor plan, plenty of natural light, very nice kitchen, a back patio overlooking the wet slips and the lake, a large comfortable bedroom and a loft upstairs that offers privacy and has a full bathroom. My son joined us for one night during this stay and he was very comfortable in the upstairs loft. This is a laid back relaxing smaller condo development that does not have a lot of people coming and going. You can park your car close to the unit so it is easy to offload your things. In the evenings the other tenants enjoyed themselves but later in the night it was quiet and calm. Perhaps our favorite part of staying in this condo is the ease in which you can get in a kayak, paddle out and catch a fantastic sunset on the lake. We kept the two kayaks moored in the wet slips that are just steps away from the back patio. In 10-15 minutes you are floating in the lake with a perfect view of the sunset. We plan on returning every year. Thank you for a great stay!

We took our boat and the slip right outside the back door was so convenient. Not great for swimming but otherwise a nice place.

Great condo on a short channel close to open water. Very convenient to the main road and to the resort. Very comfortable and quiet. Nicely updated and very well equipped. Great communication and easy check in. Excellent experience…. Will be back.

The townhome was clean, had an open floor plan, comfortable furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, lots of windows, beautifully tiled bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs, wood floors, wood paneled walls and ceilings, an enclosed front porch area with access to the downstairs master bedroom, a loft upstairs that is perfect for some kids and a large back porch area overlooking a canal with multiple wetslips that are a short paddle to the lake. In front of the back porch, which is raised about 5 feet above the wet slip dock area, is a natural spit of land with mature oaks and other hill country vegetation that offered a great view of the lake between two Live Oaks but also created a buffer from any wind on the lake. The propane grill on the back porch was clean and convenient to use. My wife and I easily launched the two kayaks that came with the unit in one of the wet slips and enjoyed the sunset out on the lake each evening. We really enjoyed our weekend getaway on the lake in this lovely townhome. Thank you Robert!
