Excellent location for our stay. Close to various places to walk and the Peak District countryside. Handy pub across the road for evening meals. Very comfortable bed.

Fantastic atmospheric cottage with plenty of room for a couple. We also hosted 4 friends for drinks and nibbles. We were also treated to an overnight sprinkling of snow. Good shower, lovely wood burner.

Beautiful location and a beautiful property. The kitchen was very well equipped and the decor was lovely. All fixtures and fittings were great quality. The bed was very comfortable and the linen smelt absolutely amazing! (Random I know but it was noticeable!). Spotlessly clean and had a folder with lots of recommended eateries and walks. A real professionally run holiday let. Would highly recommend and we will be back!
Communication from the owner was brilliant but I believe the booking gets made through Sykes? Prior to arrival I received 12 messages through them on my booking.com app which was excessive and they all essentially said the same thing!
Although self catered some provisions were provided i.e. toilet roll, toothpaste, body cream, etc (all wonderful) although a body wash was noticeably missing amongst everything and would have been appreciated. (Very minor!)

Stunning accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. We love this place and have stayed here on several occasions as it is a perfect place to unwind, with beautiful walks on the doorstep, great hosts and delicious treats in the welcome pack. The pub and pantry shop opposite are a bonus.
