This is a beautiful oceanview condo located on the third floor of the C complex. This premium suite is complete with a remodeled kitchen furnished with high-end amenities, art, fixtures, and a TV with a DVD player. Kick back on the large leather couch to catch up on a favorite novel. You'll have a nice covered lanai with views of the grounds, pool, and Maui. Our oceanfront pool, cabana, grills, and beautifully landscaped grounds accent this lovely Wavecrest property. This condo even includes a landline with free calls to the mainland. 38 miles long and only 10 to 15 miles wide, Moloka'i is the smallest of the main Hawaiian chain. Known for its largely untouched landscape, it's a nature enthusiast's dream. The west side is arid and dry, and during the winter, the secluded beaches are great for surfing, while summer guests love snorkeling and swimming. The eastern side is lush and tropical with miles of barrier reef in front. Molokai's north side is famous for having the world's highest sea cliffs which rise some 3,000 feet out of the ocean. The 2774-acre Kamakou Forest Preserve on Molokai overlooks these sea cliffs and is home to endangered birds and over 200 Hawaiian plants that grow only in this preserve. Molokai's south side is where you will find our main town of Kaunakakai, plus a handful of tourist and art shops, two full-service grocery markets, a health food store, a bakery, and even a wine and cheese shop. Though tourists will find much to love here, you'll still find a strong cultural influence as you explore. You'll also find some shopping in the villages of Kualapu'u and Maunaloa. This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 3. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This condo is setup for someone to live in it full time. With 53 or so cabinet doors/drawers and 90% of them empty, to the very large sofa sectional, there isn't a lot of space to move around. We had no place to sit unless we put the sofa bed away each day. We had 4 adults and was supposed to have the sofa bed set up. Upon arrival, we had no sheets/linens for the sofa bed for the first night until I called and got some delivered and not enough towels for 4 adults. We had a huge water problem at 11 p.m., that created leaks to the downstairs condos. This was resolved the following morning. The onsite rep was responsive with getting it fixed and delivered linens. The condo appeared to be clean, but wasn't to my liking. The pillows, well they have never been washed and were disgusting with brown stains from dust mites and other critters. Being that we were in Molokai and there are few stores nearby, it would have been nice to have at least some basics needed. A bit of coffee until we could get to a store, spices to cook with, they had a nice space rack on the counter that was empty, etc. All other vacation rentals I've rented had the basics. Most importantly, remove the two desks and cabinets in the living room area, get smaller furniture, wash pillows in hot water & bleach if not replacing them.
