About this condo rental
Nestled in Molokai, this charming condo for $126 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Hale Kamaluhia, Hawaiian for House of Serenity is our tropical retreat on the West coast of Molokai. Our desirable second floor condo has vaulted ceilings and is in one of the few buildings in the resort that has an unobstructed view of Papohaku Beach, one of the longest white sand beaches in Hawaii. Hale Kamaluhia is a passion of ours and we want guests to feel like they are coming to a cherished family retreat. We strive to provide most of what you might need except for food and clothing. For your convenience we have provided beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, a small cooler, small beverage cooler, snorkel gear, tennis rackets, and binoculars for whale watching in the Winter months. You will find our kitchen fully stocked with starter coffee, tea, spices, etc. You may read past reviews about guests renting our vehicles, but because we no longer live on Molokai, we no longer have vehicles to rent. A well appointed condo in such a unique place. The space itself is well stocked and nicely laid out. The views from the comfortable lanai furniture can not be beat.
The grounds are well maintained. The pool and beaches were beautiful and never over-crowded.
This was our first visit to Molokai and we will most definitely be back!

This condo was fantastic! It was close to the lovely west side beaches which was convenient. They provided us with everything we needed besides groceries, of course. The condo was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. This was our home away from home and we are incredibly sad to leave. Host was responsive and very helpful.

Fantastic Experience
We had a fantastic experience staying in this condo. Everything was very well organized and prepared for our visit. The location is perfect; close enough to easily walk to the pool but very quiet with an amazing ocean view. We loved gazing at the stars at night. The owners are kind and great with communication. We cannot wait for our next visit and stay in this condo.

This unit was just what we were looking for. The location was ideal. The bed was very comfortable and the view was excellent! The beach accessories were much appreciated. I personally would like to have had a more comfortable chair to sit on indoors due to my back issues but we spent most of our time outside any way. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation we have had! Everyone was very nice and friendly and the beings at the hot tub were great! We will definitely be returning next year!! We already can’t wait!

Paradise Found
This unit was just what we were looking for. The location was ideal. The bed was very comfortable and the view was excellent! The beach accessories were much appreciated. Your own piece of paradise
Our biggest issue was we did not realize how early the island closed now and we arrived late from Maui from California. Had I known that we planned a little different. The beach was out amazing we had it too ourselves for most of the day. We will diffinitely stay again. Mahalo.

The condo was spotless, had EVERYTHING we needed and even had a nice beach tote with towels all ready for our excursions. It has a nice, airy feeling and is the perfect, quiet spot to rest and relax in between island adventures.
Yvette’s instructions and communications were well throughout and and we always received a quick answer when we needed it. (And the rental of her car went very smoothly and is to recommend!)
If we ever make it back to Moloka’i, we would definitely want to stay again at Yvette’s condo (swim pool access inclusive!)

Tranquility
Our first time in Molokai. It is a beautiful and tranquil place. Enjoyed the natural beauty of the island. The condo is in a very quiet area. Well supplied, comfortable and clean.
It has a good view of the beach. Yvette was very polite and responded quickly to all the questions we had regarding the condo, activities and where to get supplies.
The beaches near by are beautiful although not for snorkeling.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spotless and comfortable
This is such an adorable condo. And it was just impeccably clean, neat and cute. The beds were both comfy, and beach supplies good. My friend and I really enjoyed staying here. I would recommend that guests bring their own food supplies.

Relaxing paradise!
We spent 2 weeks at Mike and Yvette’s condo. It was wonderful. Nicer than the pictures portray. Super clean and spacious. The complex is well maintained, great pool facilities as well. We rented the Versa for the 2 weeks which was super easy for pick up and drop off. Everyone we met was super friendly. The beaches beautiful and empty! Rarely ran into more than a handful of other beach walkers. The only disappointment was ocean too rough for swimming. The two towns were like a throwback in time, which we loved. Also highly recommend the mule ride to
Kalaupapa. Well worth the money. If you like to relax and “do nothing” (read, walk, swim) then this is paradise waiting for you. If you like lots of people and activities then not so much. Highly recommend this condo.

Wonderful, quiet, relaxing retreat!
Hale Kamaluhia was a GREAT place to stay!! The condo was clean, well organized, with everything marked. Instructions were precise and easy to follow. Yvette met us at the airport with the car and directed us to a place to eat. I highly recommend this place to stay in Molokai.

A Molokai Treasure!
We highly recommend this wonderful, comfortable, and beautiful place to stay while visiting Molokai. As soon as we walked through the door we knew we had found an island home to remember! Thanks to Yvette and Mike for providing all the beach necessities we needed as well as a perfect kitchen and relaxing place to come home to everyday. We especially loved having coffee on the lanai in the morning while planning our daily excursions. Mahalo, Mike and Yvette!

Great view, nice building and location, upkeep of the unit a little lacking
We found every imaginable thing to enhance one's stay, from books and small appliances to binoculars and snorkeling gear, but some very basic upkeep was lacking, such as a broken deadbolt, broken window shade, and a trickle of water in the kitchen sink (I checked the valves under the sink and they were fully on). The Ke Nani Kai complex is very nice and quiet, the lady in the check-in office was terrific and gracious, island-style.
