I found Alex and Allie friendly and helpful. The Shiraz that Allie recommended was superb. The meals at the pub were tasty.
Alex was particularly helpful to us.
I would recommend that self catering individuals consider a couple of things. There is no freezer in the unit to prepare an esky for next day travel. (Though the hotel allowed us to use their freezer.)
There were no bowls, plates or cutlery... or toaster in the unit! We needed to go to the local dump shop to purchase these.
Or you may be happy just to eat all meals at the restaurant.

Did not take the breakfast, we had breakfast outside the hotel. The restaurant food at the hotel is nice (we had our dinner there). Staff are helpful. Only a little bit noisy from the bar section, probably because a lot of youngsters drinking there.
I supposed to receive an email informing me of my access code to my room, however, receive none. I tried calling the hotel and sent several emails to the hotel and booking.com but none reply. I was so worried I couldn't check in and stranded nowhere. I need to rush all the way from Margaret River to Denmark not knowing what lies ahead. Luckily the reception is inside the restaurant and the serving staff helped to retrieve the access code to my room.
