Very accomplished barn conversion, attractive and well equipped. Comfortable and convenient, easy to find, with good parking.
The lighting was too low for our ageing eyes and the information about pub/restaurants in the info pack was out of date. The outside environment had clearly been impacted by this summer's drought and on-going building work.

The cottage was beautifully decorated. A lot of thought had been put into what visitors would want, such as an attractive long mirror in the bedroom and torches charging ready for use as you need these in the country where things can be quite dark. Having said that there was an automatic outside light over the cottage door. The parking was good.
We arrived, with our dog, when it was pouring with rain and the entrance area was quite small for all our wet things plus wet dog but there is nothing one can do about that. Luckily we had brought dog towels.

Cosy accommodation with all you need for a self catering stay.
Clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom.
Use of the garage to store a bike.
Good location for coastal and nearby walks.
Good choice of local pubs and cafes within a short drive.

Comfy bed, ample parking, good facilities.
Busy main road nearby.
No welcome/check-in from the owners who we believed were on site.
The bugs particularly the big beetles like insects - 15 plus each night in the hallway & kitchen, on the stairs and 1 on my leg as well as a mouse running along the low level beam whilst we were sitting in the living room.
