Verrassend was dat de cottage, die we gekozen hadden op basis van de foto's, nog beter meeviel dan op de foto's! Lekker gezellig met een mooie keuken! verzorgde kamers met kleine details die het aangenaam maken. Adam bracht ons de dag na onze aankomst een bezoekje en dat vonden wij heel aangenaam. Hij stond altijd paraat met raad en daad! het welkomstgeschenk met heel fijne lokale producten uit de Farm Shop hebben we bijzonder geapprecieerd. In de Farm Shop serveren ze trouwens bijzonder lekker eten! We waren op zoek naar een vakantiehuisje waar alles beneden was en ja hoor Elderberry Cottage was de ideale verblijfplaats voor minder jonge en minder mobiele vakantiegangers. Het zicht op zee staat nog op ons netvlies gebrand. Van alle dorpen en steden die we langs de kust aangedaan hebben vonden wij Boscastle het meest aangenaam: mooie winkeltjes, restaurantjes, een bakkerij, winkels met lokale producten, kleine supermarkt, wandelen langs het riviertje, geen overrompeling van toeristen! Bij leven en welzijn komen we zeker terug naar Cornwall en de Elderberry Cottage!

Lovely and clean, great location and very helpful hosts
Bathroom lights flashed continuously when on. Double bed was quite small Kitchen flooring had some raised joins that we tripped up on a few times
