Cute hotel at the top of the hill in Finisterra. The hotel is located near a 600-meter path to a gorgeous beach (Mar de Fora). At night, the hotel is quiet, and the employees are welcoming.
Sometimes it felt as if we were guests at somebody's home and we were on their way. The long set of rules can be a bit daunting once you arrive, but overall it is a nice place.

The experience was pleasant; however, at times it felt as though we were intruders in a house that did not belong to us, rather than guests at a hotel. It felt more like a private residence in which guests are permitted to stay under certain conditions. Additionally, the restaurant was equipped with a ventilation system that generated considerable noise, and our room was situated too close to the restaurant, which compounded the disturbance.

It had a pretty garden and pool.
This is not a good option for walking the Camino because it’s at least 1km further up a steep hill - not great after walking all morning. in addition there are zero onsite food options, and I mean zero. There is not even a welcome drink of water offered. there is a bar for water, but it only opens at 4.30pm. For dinner you have to walk back into town and up the hill again. Finally, I arrived at 1.30 but was told I had to wait till 3pm to check in - even though there were no other guests about at all. Disappointing experience overall and I’d advise Camino walkers to book elsewhere.
