Rooms well kept and ideal for the 1 night we needed after York races
My partner was running behind
Won’t go into reasons why
15 mins over check out
Chap who was going to service / clean room was rude and obnoxious
Was going to give him a few notes (and would of been generous) for the delay but felt as though we were a huge problem
Appreciate check out times, however, I’m a frequent traveller and always look to seeing teams / businesses out for great hospitality and understanding
To top it off it was both my and Mrs birthdays

Good location to visit York, regular busses into the city centre. Free on site parking.
Bed wasn’t very comfortable, felt every spring and it really sunk down. Water pressure wasn’t great, long turn to go hot

Good price for York room ok if a bit dated. Would stop here again just got unlucky with people in room 2.
Noise from other room a bit like a knocking shop all day and night embarrassing.
