This was an excellent place for me and my dog. There’s a big fenced in backyard next to a cow pasture. My friend even saw a calf being born. The views of Lake Champlain are very nice, especially the sunsets. The lake is across the road and the beach is small and rocky down a staircase. The cottage is rustic but comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. Pay attention to the pictures; what you see is what you get. The area is gorgeous with good selection of restaurants, many with nightly music. Be sure to try a maple Creemee! I had a very nice time here.

The cottage space, location, amenities, Lake view and access, and comfort were just a few positives that made our stay so wonderful. The large fenced-in backyard was particularly special for our pup. David was a 5 star host who was thoughtful and accommodating. Hope to return next summer. Thank you David!

This lovely lake house was perfect for a get-away. The host had absolutely everything we needed, from shampoo and soap to dishes and pans! The fenced backyard was perfect for my pup, who enjoyed a daily visit by the neighboring cows. The property also has two very long clotheslines for your clothes. With the lake breeze it made the laundry experience a pleasure! The wifi worked great, as well as all of the appliances, etc., as listed. The window by the dining table offers a spectacular view of the lake! As a recommendation to guests, the back bedroom on the left is on the lake side and offers a wonderful breeze through the windows if you open them. It makes for perfect sleep. We will be back!

I would classify this property as a hunting/fishing lodge. Old, dusty smell when entering. Windows were dirty & some were nonfunctional. The shower is very small & slippery, no grab bars for safety. On a positive, the beds were comfortable & clean. Ceiling fans were a blessing. The scenic view was blocked with bushes, which I think are supposed to be a buffer from the well used road traffic sounds. We were attending a family reunion in the area & that was a wonderful time. We will be looking to stay at another property next year. Thank you David for your prompt replies to my questions, the bottle of wine & maple candies.
