About this house rental
Situated in Folly Beach, this charming house for $530 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. From the moment you walk into this bright and cheerful beach house, you know that it’s going to be the perfect spot for a vacation with family and friends. This 4BR, 3.5BA home has all the comforts of home. The vaulted living room, with a large-screen TV, movies, books, puzzles and games, is a comfortable place for everyone to hang out. Guests rave about the spacious, well-appointed kitchen which has all the tools you’ll need to make preparing meals a breeze. There’s even a second refrigerator located in the laundry room off the kitchen. The beach (and beach access) is just across the street so you can enjoy the ocean view, the sound of the surf and the cool ocean breeze from the expansive front porch. For the early risers, experience the serenity of a walk on the beach at sunrise or a cup of coffee on the front porch. An outdoor shower is located under the house where you can wash your sandy toes. A beautiful backyard provides plenty of open space for the kids to play while the adults relax or prepare a barbeque on the gas grill located downstairs. Each bedroom and living space has been carefully considered with your comfort in mind. Speaking of comfort, the huge sunroom provides several areas to relax and take in the view of the lush backyard: a second living area with a TV, a breakfast table, a reading nook and two day beds. Enjoy a family meal at the dining table off the kitchen that seats eight and the bar that seats four or take in the ocean view while dining on the front porch. The Folly Beach County Park is just a half mile down the street, where beachgoers can enjoy the benefit of lifeguards, restrooms, showers and a view all the way to Kiawah! Downtown Folly and the pier are just a short mile away. There, you’ll find restaurants, shops and businesses that offer lessons and rental equipment for surfing, kayaking, paddleboards and nature tours. There’s plenty of parking under the house for all your guests. A really popular and fun way to get around the island is by golf cart. There is often a golf cart, conveniently parked under the house, available as a rental from Charleston Golf Cart Rentals (call in advance to arrange rental). Downtown Charleston is a quick 12-mile drive from Folly, where you can book history tours, check out secret gardens, try out some amazing restaurants and take advantage of the world class shopping. Perfect place for a family vacation
The house was great. Felt very spacious and open. The location was perfect, as it's literally across the street from a beach entrance and you can see the ocean from the front porch. I'd say I wish it had a pool, but because of the beach location being pretty much your front yard, you don't really need it. Also I'd highly recommend the golf cart rental, since it's just a mile from the main strip of Folly. But it's great because you're off the beaten path from all the riff-raff.

My stay was okay (Hot water went out)
Everything was great until the night before check-out. The hot water went out and never came back on. We were without hot water for the duration of our stay. We had kids with us who needed baths and showers. We had to use cold water to get them clean. Completely unacceptable.

Heaven on Folly
I hate to give a wonderful review as it would be nice to keep this home quiet. We loved our stay. The pedestrian access is literally right out the front door. The home is beautiful, comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with every utensil you can think of. Thank you for allowing our family to decompress during these difficult times. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we could not have asked for better weather.

Almost Perfect
This house provided the perfect amount of space for our family of 6 adults & 2 children. The kitchen was wonderfully large & very well stocked. All beds were comfy, the showers had plenty of hot water, & the proximity to the beach was fabulous! We were very disappointed to learn while exploring the house upon arrival that the back porch was not air conditioned. We were told by Vacasa “sorry...we didn’t change the listing to indicate that.” The temperature in that porch/room at that time was 92 degrees, so be forewarned if you’re planning on someone sleeping on the “sleeping porch.” Also, the latch on the main door leading to said porch broke on Monday. We reported this to Vacasa on Tuesday morning, but it still was not repaired when we left Saturday morning. Nonetheless, we had a great week & all agreed that we would rent this house again!

Perfect Family Vacation
Our family has been visiting Folly Beach for almost 20 years. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Blanca. The location of the house is perfect. It is across the street from the public access, so it doesn't take long to walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing week with our family. We had plenty of room for everyone inside the house and outside on the back porch. Our kids loved being close to the local restaurants and shops, but we do recommend renting a golf cart or bikes if you want to go to downtown Folly. We would definitely rent this home again for future family vacations.

Amazing property, had everything we needed including noise makers.
We had a great time. You can see the ocean from the huge front deck. The public access is right across from the property. The town was an easy walk, just absolutely fabulous. Under house was a huge parking area, great for street hockey, and the backyard was perfect for football. Everything you need for vacation was there!! We had such an amazing time we are planning our next trip back! The house was absolutely charming!! My only wish would be instead of 2 queen beds, that one of those rooms had 2 twin beds...or black out curtains on the sleeper porch. But no big deal. We loved it !!

Beautiful and spacious by the beach
What a lovely home! So much room both to sleep and hang out. I just returned from a 60th birthday party with my friend posse and it couldn't have been a better place to rest and enjoy each other. The beach views, comfy couches, amazing porches were all better than the photos. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking items, too. Super easy to deal with the rental agency and there were no problems. I would go back in a heart beat! p.s. Folly Beach town is walking distance and has an amazing general store that stocks pretty much anything you need.

Only two things—not enough toilet paper or paper towels and not enough dish soap. We had to make a Costco run. But, that was a minor inconvenience.
And, check the grill. It never did heat above 300 degrees. We finally went back upstairs and used the oven/stovetop. Again, not a dealbreaker, just needs attention before your next guests.
Can not wait to come back again next year!!

Perfect Fall Getaway
This house was perfect for our family of 7.. 6 married couples plus one a toddler, celebrating Grandpa’s 70th birthday for 4 days in October! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, 2 comfortable gathering places, and a kitchen that was perfect for our hired private chef to cook birthday dinner for us and 6 extra guests. A short walk to reach the beach, outdoor shower, front porch with rockers.. the list could go on. In short a great vacay house!!

Excellent house super close to the BEACH!
The inside of the house was very clean upon arrival, the layout was very functional, it was an excellent location wrt to the beach, and it easily accommodated our entire party. Having 2 refrigerators available was a big plus. The porch, front steps, and area underneath the house were not swept/cleared (I decided to sweep it myself one morning). The lights are labeled on the wall, but for the life of me I could not find the switch to turn off certain lights.

Quiet place to enjoy with my family
This home was perfect for my family. We were able to spread out with a number of beds to sleep in while still enjoying each others company out on the back porch. The home was a quick drive or a nice walk down to the Folly Beach area where we could eat all kinds of goodies. We will certainly look to renting this house again.

Wonderful Home with plenty of space for families to visit!
This homes location is great. I rented the home for my husband's birthday surprise. There was plenty of room for our 5 boys and their families to visit. Our only problem was the two of the beds had some sandy grit in them which made me wonder if the sheets had been changed?

This is our second stay in this beach house. The home is decorated very nicely, and it had all of the kitchen items that we needed during our stay. The bedrooms are a nice size, and the bunk beds are perfect for children. There is a lovely front porch with rockers, and you have a good view of the ocean from there. The back sun room includes another TV and lots of furniture for additional lounging. However, when we arrived, there were not any trash bags in the trash cans or anywhere else in the home. I called Avocet Realty to tell them that we needed them, and they said they would send someone over. The bags were not delivered until the afternoon of the next day. I had planned to get bags anyway, but I was forced to go to the store before I needed to. Also, I have cat allergies, and I am certain that someone had brought a cat into this home even though it is supposed to be a pet-free property.

This house was perfect for our family gathering of twelve. It is furnished beautifully, and beds were comfortable. Two teenagers slept on the beds on the porch without a problem with the light. Both front and back decks are huge, and you can see the ocean front deck while sipping margaritas in the rockers! It is just a walk across the street to the beach, and a mile walk into town. We cooked every night and kitchen was very well stocked. I brought some things from home because I find kitchen gadgets, platters, bowls usually lacking in beach rentals, but not here! Also drove into Charleston which only took 15 minutes. Avocet was also very easy to work with. A+!!!
