Die gesamte Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles was man für einen schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Das Bad hat eine ebenerdige Dusche und einen sehr außergewöhnlichen Waschtisch. Das große Bett ist wunderschön selbst geschreinert und sieht nicht nur toll aus sondern auch sehr bequem. Die Küche ist komplett, modern eingerichtet. Der Blick auf das Castel rundet das ganze ab.

The apartment Schifta is a lovely and cozy 2 bed-rooms apartment with an amazing terrace with great view of the small castle and the village of Chienes. The apartment is new, very nicely decorated, with attention to the smallest details and good taste, in my opinion.
The terrace is what really makes a difference for a summer getaway: you have tables, long-chairs, sofas on the outside for your full-relax. There's also an electric barbecue which doesn't make you want to look for a restaurant.
On the inside, you have 2 bedrooms: one with a king bed and another with 2 beds that can be joined if required. Bathroom with large shower and washing machine free to use (tabs provided) and fully equipped kitchen with dish-washer as well, very convenient for families. The table can accomodate easily 6 persons and you also have a living room with flat TV and a sofa.
Train station is a 10 mins walk, 5 mins instead to the supermarket and a couple of places where to eat.
The hosts are a young family that lives on the top floor, so in case there's any necessity, they're always there to help. We also received a courtesy visit of their cat that wanted to check on us, very nice of Mimmo.
I spent there a couple of days working remotely and the wi-fi provided excellent service throughout the stay.
The Sudtirol holiday pass for free trains and bus rides is included in the stay (limits apply in peak season).
I would definitely like to be back. A special thanks to Katrin for making our stay smooth and enjoyable!
There are two parking spots available for guests, but the access is little tricky: you have to maneouvre backwards on a very short, but steep unpaved road, Katrin will guide you on how to make it. I made it, so I'm pretty sure anybody can (four-wheels traction may be helpful), but in the end we decided it was easier to park at the nearby school (about 100 m away), which was possible because the school was closed.
The village is small and food options within walking distance are limited and one of them requires reservation... If you are Italian, keep in mind business hours for shops and restaurants are different: supermarket closes at 18.30 and restaurants hardly serve at 20, but that's how it works in the area, just be mindful.
