The farm was so peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay. Everything in our cabin and around was so beautiful, I truly felt like a forest fairy! The cabins were clean and beds super cosy! Totally recommend and will be back again. Thank you both 💚

We loved the quiet location immersed in nature but still only a short drive to amenities and attractions. The cabin was very well equipped, it had everything you could need so we didn't need to take all our own bedding, kitchenware etc as is often the case with glamping. I was impressed with kitchenette provisions. We stayed in the Bluebell cabin so having an en-suite toilet inside the cabin was great. Overall, the cabins were were lovely and thoughtfully designed. The hosts and animals were very welcoming! You can tell the owners love what they have created here and we would definitely return.

Absolute perfection! The ultimate family retreat with magical alpaca encounters.
Every single box was ticked during our 3-night stay at the Hen Shed, and we truly had the best time. It felt like a proper family retreat. The Hen Shed itself is the coolest, quirkiest accommodation we have ever stayed in. It had absolutely everything we needed, and you can tell every tiny detail has been carefully thought of. Our children (aged 12 and 6) absolutely loved the den sleeping area!
Living amongst the alpacas was pure magic. Being able to walk around with them and feed them was an unforgettable experience. The site also has great play areas, which meant the kids could run free and just be kids in a safe environment.
Josh, the owner, was fantastic with them. We booked the children onto the Farm Hand Experience with him, and they thought it was brilliant. They couldn’t wait to run back and tell us every single thing they had learned and experienced! While they were busy, I booked myself in for a Reiki session and a massage, which was just wonderful.
The location is amazing. We spent our days hiking around the moors, tackling the Haytor Rocks circular walk, and exploring Wistman's Woods, which was incredible. We even saw lots of wild Dartmoor ponies!
We 100% recommend Dartmoor Reach Alpaca Farm and would definitely return.

Better than I expected. A lovely little cabin with the alpacas freely roaming around.
The cabin was small but had everything we needed. Outdoor shower was lovely. A great place for kids.
