Stay faway!

The view from Saint Francis Basilica.

Complete nightmare. The listing is full of misleading information. The "nearby" parking is actually €18/day and far away, while the free option is in a deserted, unsafe area. The apartment had middle hygiene: no toilet paper, no trash bin, no floor cloth, no kitchen sponge, and the bathroom had mold around the sink and shower stall. Worst of all, the shower drain was completely clogged. The host promised to bring supplies but ignored us, forcing us to walk 30 minutes to buy essentials. The place is extremely hot with only an old, noisy fan, the street is extremely loud at night, and only 3 out of 4 stove burners work. The Wi-Fi is outdated and blocked my iPhone, forcing me to spend over €50 in mobile data. To top it off, the city tax on Booking showed €6 but the host informed us to pay €18.

Perfect location in Assisi

Easy instructions sent to retrieve the keys. Once the city tax was paid, instructions sent via WhatsApp. No problems. Perfect location for the Basilica. Restaurants and stores all around. Would stay here again! Great Wi-Fi, a city discount card was available. Great bonus!

I only wish there was a hair dryer.
