I’ve visited Glastonbury often but never stayed at The Crown before. Good location right next to the Market Cross. Comfortable clean room well provisioned with bottled water, tea, coffee & biscuits. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Good selection of beers behind the bar. On the whole interactions with staff were positive.
A couple of small issues. I seem to have become invisible whilst trying to order a drink at the bar one evening at least to the girl serving on that occasion. She had no trouble spotting the couple who arrived after me & stood to my left. I suspect that I wasn’t young & pretty enough to warrant her attention!
On my last night I was kept awake by a banging baseline the origin of which I couldn’t detect. Perhaps another guest?

The staff were all very friendly, the hotel was clean and the breakfast was lovely. The hotel in great location on the highstreet.would definitely recommend.

Average 3star hotel located in the center, the single room I had was very small. Noisy and creaky. Breakfast ok, ok portion quantity, nice personnel.
Unjustifiably expensive, I am paying the same for a 4 star hotel, 120 sqft in Bloomsbury, London just 2 day later. Let that sink in.
