Spacious room in a great location, with parking available on the premises-which is much needed on the Greek islands. There is also a supermarket and bakery just a few steps from the property. Last but not least, communication with the owner was excellent, and all the information provided was clear and timely.

Compared to the overall size of the studio, the bathroom was considerably small. Also, because of the way the shower was built, the entire floor would get wet whenever we used it. So, the bathroom could definitely be improved.

Perfect location - not too crowded, but also close to a big town Rethymno with a bus stop right in front of the apartment. The owners and staff are sweet and helpful, good cleaning, cozy room and comfortable furniture.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean.

A good location—having the shops just across the street was great! The complimentary bottle of wine, bottle of water, and box of crackers was a lovely touch. Other nice things were the clothes drying rack, the coffee machine, and the very good air conditioning. Host was very nice about one of the room keys getting lost in the sea.

The property does not match the listing. This property is minimal self-catered apartments, not a hotel. There was no reception desk of any kind, and the host only appeared briefly when resolving an issue. The photos and listing very much give the impression of a hotel. Other items on the listing that were not actually present when we were there included: a wellness center that you could book into for a massage (no idea where this could be, the one page of information in the room made no mention of anything like this, and we had booked this property hoping to book a massage), free beach side chairs (the connected beach bar that appears in the photos for the listing is abandoned and in significant disrepair), an inner courtyard view (we booked an “inner courtyard view” instead of an “ocean view room,” and we got a view of a lovely front garden and the street, but it was not a courtyard). While we ultimately enjoyed our stay, arriving to find the above was incredibly frustrating. We arrived to find the 2 chairs at the table were broken to the point of being unsafe. They were replaced within 24 hours, but that should have been caught before we arrived, we almost hurt ourselves trying not to fall when the chairs lurched under us, and clear evidence of failed repairs was on the bottom of the chair when we inspected them. Also had an incredibly frustrating experience when I tried to call the host and she would answer and then hung up on me after I said who I was, twice in a row. On the third call she asked me to text her, but I wish she had found a different way to communicate this. Hanging up on me twice in a row when they had previously given me their phone number and told me to call if I needed anything was honestly infuriating.
