Beautiful cottages decore was a little dated but very clean and comfortable staff very nice more than enough space for 2 people and 2 dogs would recommend good value for money
Had to change date was nearly impossible to contact sykes cottages also would have been nice for them to have a little coffee and tea available on arrival most places have it not an expensive thing also they need to solve ant problem

Well-designed, attractive cottage, all on one level, with semi-private sitting out area. The Cheviot hills are close by, while there are lots of places of interest (castles and abbeys) to visit within 25 miles or so, and the beautiful coastline is a joy to behold. Our favourite visits were to Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden.
The controls on the electric cooker were very awkward to turn.
