Experience living in a traditional Breton cottage!

Charming centuries old cottage short drive (2 km) from Pontivy. Very quiet small village location. Olivier was very welcoming, friendly and eager to share information about the area - places to visit and eat. The cottage was clean, cosy and had everything you need for a nice stay. Large supermarkets close by. Good base for exploring central Brittany.

Needs more lighting in kitchen area.

A charming Breton house in a peaceful location.

Set in a peaceful location with walks close by, Penty is a charming Breton house with character which has been furnished well with everything you could need, there is a private and lovely garden which was perfect to relax during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and towels of good quality. We were welcomed by Nadine, who was so helpful and Olivier checked in with us over the weekend to ensure all was ok, excellent hosts. We would definitely recommend this property.

There is nothing not to like.

Cute cottage/gìte on the outskirts of Pontivy

A cute quaint cottage just a little outside the town of Pontivy. The cottage was well equipped for all our needs, modern cooking facilities and bathroom. Lovely outdoor areas and garden. There's a trail (10 mins)just outside the door that leads to the town and joins the canal Brest- Lorient route. Shopping is quite near however you would need transport. Lidl supermarket is just 5mins drive. The area is an ancient country village with just a few houses and a large Church with a few wooded trails nearby.

Nothing about the accommodation but the town of Pontivy itself isn't that impressive and we found it hard to find a place to eat as it was the beginning of the week and restaurants didn't open in the evening it seemed.

Exceptional

Very nice Gite and the owner Olivier is so helpful and kind. As cyclists it was great to be close to a supermarket too.

Nothing our stay was perfect.
