When you reach this guesthouse... not only do you find a house, but you feel like a real guest. A guest of the house, a guest of the family. Almost a member of the family.
Try all the food. Try the "sarma", the cheese... the Trahana... everything is locally homemade. Fresh from the garden or the mountain around.

The view was beautiful, the staff was very friendly and the food was very delicious.
I can say that to go there you needed a higher car since the road was not paved from the center of Nivice to the Bujtine.

We enjoyed two nice nights at Bujtina Hadër Xhebro. The family is really helpful and friendly, we didn't speak the same language but thanks to translating apps and smiles it was really not a problem. We enjoyed the remote location and calmness, as well as the hike we could do around in the hills - even if unfortunately we encountered some rubbish in nature, as it is the case everywhere in the country. The house and garden is beautiful. The weather was not that good when we were there but I'm sure the stay is even more pleasant when you can enjoy the outside more. We really appreciated the traditional food and the fact that Albanian families and friends were staying there / coming for the evening, and looked like they were having a great time ! Our room was simple and clean, with a good bed. I would totally recommend staying there if you appreciate calmness and authenticity. Regarding how to reach Bujtina Hadër Xhebro, a 4x4 is not absolutely needed but you will need a high car as the track is bumpy and has quite a lot of holes and rocks (I think the family can arrange to pick you up at the nearby village if you don't have a well suited vehicule).
