We loved the Hawkeye suite. The views were amazing, the location is great right near the town of Gardiner, wildlife outside daily (elk and deer), and the host was quick to respond when we had questions.

This was a stop on our Yellowstone vacation. It was a family trip, so we did like the space to stretch out and have individual space. Loved the bedrooms, exactly what we needed. Great location close to main road through town. Beautiful home, I wish we could have stayed longer!!

We loved our stay in Gardiner! The location was perfect… not too far from town but with lovely scenery from back porch. Large gathering room and well stocked kitchen allowed up to host extended family dinners nightly. Bedrooms were spacious, beds comfortable and plenty of extras to make traveling from afar easy. The best part was the back deck. We sat out there nightly and we’re rewarded with several elk grazing the hills.

Property worked perfectly for our trip. It is uniquely co-located as a penthouse suite located adjacent to the Tipis. Beautiful view, private entrance. Quiet, clean, and perfect for our family trip. Thanks.

This was a fantastic location to stay for day trips into Yellowstone. We also booked a scenic river raft cruise through the owner’s company and that was a fabulous experience and a great way to kick off our trip. The house was clean and the layout was better than we could have asked for for our family. We loved watching the elk frolicking in the surrounding hills. A very relaxing two nights. The house had some basic condiments available for use which made the stay even sweeter.

Everything about our stay in The Hawkeye was amazing. From the ease of check-in, the location, the beautiful space, and fantastic views! The hospitality of Holly was second to none and we cannot recommend this space highly enough!

Beautiful views from the deck! We loved watching the Elk and horses every sunrise and sunset. Just breathtaking! Holly was wonderful and accomadating to anything we needed. we had plenty of room for our family and space to eat dinner and relax after a long day in the park. Excellent location to YNP. Very clean! Awesome kitchen with everything we needed to make our breakfasts and dinners. 5+++++ stars!!!

I could stay at this location forever! I loved everything about it. It was very convenient to the North Entrance into Yellowstone and downtown Gardiner. This house had everything you could dream of and was fully stocked for every need. Loved the decor and high end appliances. The view was unbelievable! Holly checked us in and showed us around our place. She was very thoughtful and we enjoyed talking with her! I just can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was!

We had a great stay here! The space is clean and fresh and we had every amenity we needed. Arrived at night to 15+ elk, it was magical. Location is a stone's throw from the north entrance to Yellowstone, it was the perfect place to stay to enjoy all the park has to offer. Because of the flooding and subsequent road replacement we did have to hire a guide to take us into the park from the north entrance, but it was well worth it. Thanks to our guide we were able to explore and see much more wildlife than we ever would have on our own. We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area!

Poor customer service from property and VRBO support!

The property owner was not responsive to communications for days before we were to check in. Then when the news hit of massive flooding, road closure and Yellowstone National Park closure- ONCE the owner answered his phone- NOT responsive to inquiries regarding the situation or possible access to the property- said “ call back tomorrow. After that and for days after no response to any communications. So rude - they had the money. After many calls and hours on hold with VRBO trying to get answers- they also got no response from owners. Also gave me no assurance of a refund . The roads were closed, no power and no safe water unless boiled. This is no way to run any kind of business. Finally called AMEX and got immediate service and satisfaction- full refund. BAD experience from owner and VRBO Had to mark all categories in the survey to submit this review- really do not know about the actual property as we could not get there.

A wonderful rental, just as advertised. Jad everything we needed and the property manager was very kind and attentive. Beautiful views of the park. Every morning you can see bucks and horses grazing from the balconies. So close to the Yellowstone park entrance. We had a blast. Definitely a place we will visit again!

The property was beautiful and accurately advertised. Check in was seamless and we had no issues throughout our stay. The kids loved the bunkbeds and separate tv. All of the adults loved bathrooms for each master suite. Great location close to the park. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent five days at the Hawkeye condo and it was epic! Holly, the property manager was so responsive and friendly! Patrick and Sarah were also friendly and easy to communicate with. We traveled with two other couples and the condo was spacious and roomy. The views are amazing - Yellowstone is right off the balcony! The condo is 1/2 mile from the Gardiner entrance to the park. The condo is very well stocked and the only thing that we would have liked to have had would have been shampoo and body wash in the shower. Other than that, The Hawkeye suite is a great place to call your, “home away from home!”

If you are considering a Yellowstone family trip you should book this location. The condo was comfortable for our group of ten. Holly the property manager was so nice and especially tolerant of the 4 little ones as she lives on the property. The elk were everywhere throughout the town and in the evenings we would sit on the balcony and listen to their bugles. Awesome trip!!

Beautiful house in a great location first week of October is a great time to see elk right by the house and all through town lots of animals all through the park we seen bison a Bear and wolves and pronghorn and mule deer we had some great hikes and the Hot Springs is pretty close if you wanted to soak and relax what a great vacation and couldn’t have stayed at a better place!!!

Amazing views. Nice set-up, 2 bedrooms on one side and 2 on other with living area in between. Nice large table to accommodate large family meals and games. Property manager is extremely quick to respond to any questions or issues.

We loved our stay at Patrik and Sarah's home - it was clean, comfortable, well equipped, had great views, and was well located (near the park entrance, as well as near grocery store/take out places). I noticed that there was a review from an earlier stay that pointed out some issues, but it was great to see that Patrik (and Holly his property manager) had fixed everything listed in that review before we arrived at the home for our stay. This is a wonderful example of Patrik's responsiveness, and the fact that he's a great host. There were multiple other things that Patrik/Holly did to make our stay very comfortable. (1) the previous guests had misplaced the grill utensils and we couldn't find it. Patrik immediately bought a new set and handed it over to us (2) we had a senior guest accompanying us and we were worried about some of the long hikes. Holly, without asking, provided us with her foldable chair to take along on our hikes (and that was super helpful). Overall, thank you Patrik and Holly for a great stay, and helping us create lifelong memories of Yellowstone.
