About this chalet rental
Nestled in Kidder Township, this attractive chalet for $329 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. ****As you can see, we are booked most weekends. However, I also own VRBO property 3619562. It is newer, we have upgraded everything to try and duplicate this house, it is slightly smaller, and rental rates are a little lower. Please consider booking at the other property if this one is booked. I can assure that you will receive the same level of service. This lovely Poconos Lake Harmony Estates chalet has it all: beautifully furnished, cathedral ceilings, stone (gas burning) fireplace, 65" smart TV, high speed WiFi, modern fully equipped kitchen w/granite countertops, massive deck with brand new 6 burner grill, picnic table, and umbrella for entertaining, large secluded fire pit area, outdoor hot tub, basement game room with pool table plenty of seating and a TV for game watching, ping pong table in garage, loft has another TV and a foosball table. Linens and towels ARE included but we recommend bringing extra towels for the lake and/or hot tub. 5 bedrooms with 4 queen beds in 4 rooms and a bunk room with 2 sets of twin over twin bunks. There is also a fold out couch in the pool room. Pets allowed with small pet fee. Situated in a peaceful setting on a 1/2 acre wooded property, children enjoy watching native animals that routinely walk through the yard. Deer, turkey and other wildlife are commonly seen. Winter evenings offer a view of the slopes at Big Boulder Ski Resort from the large windows in family room. Staying in the Estates affords you access to a private beach with parking, tennis courts, and a marina key to allow boat access to the lake. The house is about 1/4 mile from the lake beach, 1 mile from Big Boulder Ski Area and Split Rock golf course and a 5-minute drive to Jack Frost Ski resort and golf Course. Camel Back Ski Area and Water Park as well as the Crossings Shopping Outlets are only 20 miles away. Other activities are available at the nearby Split Rock Resort and the Town Center (formally the Galleria) including a movie theatre, indoor water park, arcade, ice cream parlor and bowling alley. Restaurants are only a few minutes away. Nick's Lake House, Shenanigans, Louie's Prime Steak House, the Split Rock Lodge, the Terra Cottage Cafe and Piggy's are all close. Recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, skiing, golfing, biking, climbing, mini-golf, horseback riding, state parks and a dirt bike and ATV riding park are all nearby. Annual attractions include NASCAR racing, Wine and Food Fest, Blues Fest and Beer Festivals. Directions: The home is easily accessible from Exit 95 of the PA Turnpike or Interstate 80. ****As you can see, we are booked most weekends. However, I also own VRBO property 3619562. Thanks to Charlie and Gloria for an awesome weekend in Lake Harmony. The property is as advertised. Highly amenitized, excellent location within Lake Harmony Estates. We had 10 adults and all were comfortable / had enough space. The hot tub was hot, billiards / ping pong / foosball, the fire pit, etc. All great. Highly recommend this property.

The house was in the the perfect location! There were so many deer in the yard everyday! We enjoyed sitting by the fire and making s’mores and the hot tub was great. The game room was great! Kitchen was fully equipped! The owner was so fast with responding to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!

The place was easy to locate through gps. Got privilege to check in 30 mins early. Our stay was fun and chill! My friends and their husband also enjoyed the stay. On our last day, we had our chance to see the black bear crossing the street. That was a plus!

We were there for a wedding and it was rainy outside. The house was very comfortable and we were provided with fun activities in between our events. Charlie responded quickly to questions. We absolutely loved having the gas fireplace, it added the extra warmth and coziness to our wet weekend.

The property is exactly as described in VRBO. The home and location were ideal for our family of 11, including gandparents and children ages 9 and 12. There is alot to experience nearby. We particularly enjoyed the Lake Harmony beach, the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway in Jim Thorpe, the water park and bowling at Split Rock, the Hickory Run Boulder Field - a National Natural Landmark, and hiking a section of the D&L trail near White Haven. The house was cozy and we enjoyed the fire in the fire pit in the evening. Charlie and Gloria, the owners were very gracious and answered all our questions quickly. We would defintely consider renting this house agaain in the future.

The house was very comfortable and clean. It was nice having games and other activities right at the house. It was an easy walk to the lake and a short drive to the local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice property. Overall quite clean except the floors could have used a good scrubbing. Rooms as described, although the main and upper level queen beds were quite uncomfortable for the adults (but the kids were fine on the bunk beds and the adult in the basement was comfortable). The older adults found the bathroom floors and showers to be dangerously slippery and suggested that providing a bath mat for the bathroom floor and some kind of adhesive mat in the bathtubs would help tremendously. Air conditioning was great. Kitchen was great. Perfect location. Overall a lovely stay.

Our multigenerational family enjoyed our stay at this house in the Poconos. There are three areas for family members to spend time together playing pool, ping pong and foosball or watching movies and playing board games. There is also a hot tub and fire pit area available. Families have access to a private beach and fishing pier. The house is located close to area attractions.

This property was amazing for our group! We had 3 families stay together for a winter get away. The location is 10 min from Big Boulder. The rental was clean and accommodated everyone comfortably. The owners were excellent in responding to my questions and everything was seamless.

We stayed here for a short winter vacation. This adorable home met all expectations. The owner was great at communicating and answered all questions right away. We saw deer everyday all day! The hot tub and the amount of things to do at the home were a bonus. Big Boulder can be seen from the porch, it is right down the road and Blue Mountain, Camel Back and outlets are a short drive away. Lake Harmony Town is adorable with plenty of restaurants, taverns, and the cutest little coffee shop. Would definitely stay here again! My biggest bonus was they allowed me to bring my labradoodle, Stella! Thanks Charlie and Gloria we had an awesome time!

The house was perfect for our family ski trip. Had all the amenities we needed and we all enjpyed the hottub. It was close to the ski resorts and other activities. The owners were great and replied with and questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend staying here at Lake Harmony Estates.

This property was perfect and was what we were looking for. Very spacious and conveniently located around a ski location. Also, the lake nearby was beautiful to look at especially during the winter. In addition, just be aware that the basement bathroom doorknob gets jammed and makes it a bit difficult to open.

Property was very nice. It’s us with hot tub was corrected immediately. Literally within 15 minutes the tech showed up to fix. The water pressure issue is constant and was the one thing that was frustrating. Though told it would only happen if we were to use multiple water sources it happened even when only using one. This occurred multiple times each day. Frustrating if you are i. The shower at the time. Overall the property is very nice and comfortable

Charlie is a great host of a very comfortable Lake Harmony home. We have been a group of 6 friends for over 50 years. The accommodations were ideal, very clean, and attractive. The 6 of us had plenty of room including couch space. Having the beds already made up for us when we arrived was a treat. The kitchen was well stocked, probably the best we have experienced. When we had questions, Charlie answered our calls right away and he was friendly and helpful. The location was terrific, with lovely walks right at the door. We saw several deer in this beautiful setting. Charlie cares about his home and is proud to share it. He even let us come early and leave late. Thank you, Charlie, we loved it and hope to again!

Excellent property and location for 7 friends to get together. We enjoyed the outside space of the deck and fire pit, and the inside was perfect for our group to hang out. Sleeping accommodations worked well and the 3 full baths were perfect. The location is convenient to several aspects including food, golf, and the beach / lake. We would definitely reserve it again.

Nice location, cute country house with lots of wildlife outside your door. The deer love to visit and a few marshmallows may have fallen their way. The giant bear walking by was a surprise. Hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely go again.

Place was great! It was as advertised. Beautiful house, and firepit. And easy walk to the beach. I would stay here again. Host was very responsive and helpful. Hot tub was not heating and he had someone come out within the hour of my message to check it even though it was late at night. A great host. Place was a bit light on shampoo and conditioner. Especially for a large group. But that is only a minimal thing. Everything else was terrific! Read through the description thoroughly. I thought 10-12 meant it can do 12 adults. But the posting said only 10 adults and 2 kids which I missed first time. I would easily stay here again or at the host's other properties.
