The location is stunning and unique, a fabulous place to relax and watch the world go by, nearby walks, pub and jam bench!
The little things were downers, we happened to visit in a cold spell and the boathouse was 12 degrees when we arrived and took ages to heat up…the welcome wine and snacks are great but then there was no pepper or hand soap etc…You’re warmly welcomed but there’s a £150 damage deposit and a strict check out at 10am - unless you want to pay extra.
Maybe the owners have been scarred by previous customers.
There’s value for money if full occupancy, otherwise you have to decide whether the view is worth it. Sorry.

The property is in the actual boatyard next to the harbour masters hut and therefore at night quiet and a feeling of isolation. Although other houseboat accommodation are nearby. There is lots of places to sin and read or chat in small groups away from the main living area. Really comfortable beds. Great fish shop, cafe and pub near the property. Helen's Art hut has great art.
It was really cold on arrival and took an hour to be able to heat the place enough to take your coat off. 1 bag of logs provided should be there to help with this issue

A beautiful property and location and well equipped for comfortable stay. Brilliant communication and a lovely welcome basket when we arrived. A lovely place to unwind as a family.
