Royal Luchon is a perfect choice for a stay in Luchon as it is central, clean and has very friendly staff.
Our family room was spacious with huge French doors that overlooked the park and our private balcony.
We were so close to the Main Street which had great restaurants, a supermarket, bakery and laundry.

The location is fantastic, and we really appreciated that they kindly provided us with towels for the thermal baths. The apartments are comfortable and seem particularly well suited for longer stays. Everything was clean, well organised, and recently renovated.
The check-in process definitely needs improvement. Guests are given only a three-hour window for check-in, after which they have to collect the keys from a box. We arrived just 15 minutes after the end of the window (6:15 PM), but the code we were given was incorrect and nobody answered the phone. After almost an hour of trying different combinations, we eventually discovered that one of the numbers was wrong and managed to get in.
Parking is also on the street, which can be challenging. We arrived during local festivities, so finding a parking spot was particularly difficult.
