Easy check in, great communication. Very nice building with good country views. Very clean and very comfortable bed. Hosts went out of their way to help. Lovely selection of breakfast bars, fruit with tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Nice communal outdoor seating areas.
We overlooked that the bathroom was not an ensuite and was outside on a communal corridor.

Fascinating to stay in a place that is almost 250 years old. They've done a great job building in modern conveniences without taking away the charm. The hosts were super! Offering breakfast would be even more of a draw as one must walk (about 15-20 minutes) or drive to the closest cafe. However, coffee, tea, water, and snacks right in the room was most convenient.

Everything was lovely and the hosts were extremely kind — the snacks they prepared were much appreciated.
Just a small suggestion: the mattress was a little uneven on one side, which made sleeping slightly less comfortable.
