Beautiful, well kept rentals located in a quiet, walkable town. You can tell Ron holds a lot of pride in this property from the organization of the layouts to the small details that make this place extra accommodating, like water toys for the kids to sunscreen & bug spray. Ron is just a quick text away if you need anything & while he's there he offers assistance & ideas to make your stay more comfortable. He truly cares about his renters & their experiences. Lastly, the pictures I took turned out EXACTLY like the listing, no filters. Truly a beautiful escape.

I stayed in Apartment #1 with my two teenage sons. My 19-year-old said, "It was (expletive) great!" Tight quarters for three people unless you are willing to share a bed. There's a full-sized bed and a full-sized pleather futon-type couch. My sons took turns sleeping on the floor. It's a short drive to the ocean and supermarket. The host was great. He stayed on site and was there to help with anything we needed. It was very clean and beautifully renovated, but next time I'll opt for the larger apartment.

BAYFRONT RETREAT
BAYFRONT RETREAT
This is a perfectly peaceful bay front retreat. The property is pristinely taken care of by the owner and he is always available for any needs you may have during your stay. He is extremely courteous and accommodating. Plenty of quaint restaurants within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I would like to say -above expectations! The host is very attentive; the place is streaking clean. The beach is equipped with a lot if “bonuses”-kayaks, paddle-board, bikes. We even had a fireplace on the beach! When we practiced Yoga, our host gave us a huge cover. Love the place; will be back!

Ron has truly created nothing short of a slice of heaven in Jersey. I had never explored this part of Jersey's shore, and now I feel silly that I never did and also feel so grateful that my first experience was at this lovely property. It is crafted to include anything and everything you may need and more. Built for comfort and relaxation with so many options for having fun outdoors. My partner and I felt welcome from the second we got there and the pictures match the reality -- 100%. I can't explain to you how rejuvenating it was to step out onto the porch and walk 5 steps to the back only to see the wide beautiful blue ocean. Accompanied by a personal beach for the house. I was there for 4-5 days and stepped out onto the beach to collect pebbles, drink some wine, even just enjoy the noise of the calm waves blanketing the pebbles. It was truly magical. Ron was so kind, welcoming, giving, and overall the perfect host. We grilled out for three meals, and once even during a short evening thunderstorm. Grilled during a storm? Yes! Ron has something like 4 - 6 grills, including one of those ceramic eggs -- where we made some delectable ribs. Ron even started the grill for us city-dwellers. Our ribs were slowly cooking at their pace while we escaped from the rain in the ridiculously convenient garage patio that has a couch, tv, and kitchenette set up. I felt like I was in some sort of movie with the garage door open, watching the rain, and playing some cards. It's worth mentioning that the water pressure in the apartment is amazing, the two AC's keep it cool, and there is any dish, bowl, cooking utensil you might need. Although, you might want to go out to eat because there are some pretty tasty spots nearby. We thought... small town, maybe there's nothing. Wrong! Go to Franny's Pizzeria. You won't regret it. The staff is sweet, the food is delicious, and it's BYOB with no corkage fee. We went a few times and even brought some dough home! With the included season beach pass, we went to Sandy Hook a few times, and it was so easy to get there, we chuckled every time. Swing by to get some coffee at Water Witch Coffee, and be laid out on the beach in Sandy Hook in less than 15 minutes total. Promise. You can also drive out to Asbury Park and Seaside Heights for a day trip, but please explore the Highlands! I fell in love and now want to make it a yearly trip. Can't recommend it enough.
