Visited for a week with 3 generations of my family. We all loved it. Fantastic views and in a great location, really close to both north and south bays (as long as you don't mind hills/ steps!). Beautiful and well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook proper meals. Gorgeous lounge and decent sized bedrooms
Bathroom situation not ideal for 8 adults as 1 bathroom is en-suite.
Quite difficult to find a parking space anywhere nearby Friday to Sunday but not too bad on the other days.
Could do with a bit of a check over as several bulbs blown in (lovely) light fitting over dining table and in lounge and quite a few chipped mugs and dishes but these are all really minor issues and definitely wouldn't stop me visiting again.

The property was well appointed , well equipped and tastefully decorated. Excellent location with spectacular views over North Bay both from the house and garden. A short walk to Scarborough Castle which is well worth a visit . In the churchyard just across the road is Anne Bronte's grave and the Scarborough Arms down the road has a good atmosphere.
A lot of stairs over 4 floors but well compensated by the sea views over both bays from different levels. Rubbish was getting blown into the garden from hotel next door due to seagull activity in over filled bills. Of course this is outside the control on the property management

The house has lots of room
The garden is big with a lovely view
Child gate on the 2nd floor is a nice touch. We could relax knowing the little ones wouldn't fall down.
Washing Machine is helpful shame no dryer
Parking permits for outside. We had 3 cars so this was nice
While the main issue I had was resolved it's a shame it happened. On arrival one of the beds bedding was dirty. The cleaner was unavailable so I ended up having to change this myself. While that's not an issue it's disappointing that the cleaning company was so bad. I've had previous experience with host stay cleaners doing this, very poor experience.
Main sofa's are cream fabric, why lol. I ended up washing one cushion as it was dirty and this showed why cream is not a good idea, the rest of the sofa looked really bad next to the clean one. Recommend you have the cleaners do the covers once a month or replace with a different colour.
Someone had tried to get in the locked storage cupboard previously and pulled the skirting board off the wall along with the plaster. We didn't notice it until the 2 year old had some in his mouth!
No dryer which wouldn't be an issue but there is only a broken clothes horse, and the rotary washing line has no where to go. We ended up putting it in the table hole but it leaned over all the time so drying took ages.
Beds.. mattress was fine but the pillows were so bad. Kids ended up sleeping with cushions instead and the duvet was like a winter blanket. Was so hot we just took it out of the cover
