The apartment was excellent. The size of the living room, and the dining table were fantastic. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, so we didn't use the outdoor area, but it would be great if the weather was warmer. The laundry area was also great and allowed us to bath the 6 month old in the sink (as there were no baths).
The location was brilliant.
It would be lovely if the master bedroom was a king bed, but the queen bed is acceptable. A few more basic facilities in the kitchen would have been good. The olive oil only had a dribble left. A few basics would have been great, like a vinegar or some basic herbs. Also, with stainless steel pots and frying pans, you really need a scourer to clean them (especially the frying pan).

Great location and a really beautiful unit. The staff that manage the property at Follo were absolutely top notch, accommodating with late check in and super helpful regarding local knowledge and the places best to visit. Lucky for the great staff at Follo, they provide all the documents required to assist in the check in, payment, car parking, access situations etc, for which there is quite a bit to get your head around. Our concierge Ben was fantastic once we arrived and the whole crew at Follo were great with organising the stay. The location speaks for itself, the access is unparalleled to key parts of East Newcastle.
Check in process was slightly jarring for those whom are travelling in late, very busy and otherwise rely on a quick and easy check in experience that you may be used to with Hotels and 24 hour concierge. Be aware that this is a residential building. Lucky for the crew at Follo, they assist with this process and bend over backwards for the guests!
