The room was clean and well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The shower was new and warm. The breakfast was good and lovely to have a warm egg choice. It is situated in a quiet village with beautiful surroundings.
That the stairwell to the rooms was used by smokers. I did not like having to trail through the smell of smoke before entering my room. The staff informed me thy they would open the window in the stairwell and that regular guests were smokers and they could not afford to put a stop to their smoking. Perhaps a designated smoking area could be provided so ordinary non-smokers can enjoy the stay without having to enter area of smoke.
