Situated in Fernandina Beach, this attractive house for $684 per night is a great choice for your next trip. The Round House is a unique Amelia Island vacation home located at 1043 South Fletcher just across the street from the ocean's edge! This property can accommodate up to 12 guests with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms plus two Queen sleeper sofas. Guests will also appreciate having two kitchens and two living rooms. And who wouldn't love to have front row seats on the large balcony to enjoy beautiful sunrises over the ocean? Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are located at ground level along with the smaller kitchen and living area. The master suite, main living area and kitchen are upstairs on the second level. This home has been recently upgraded with new flooring, interior and exterior paint, and wall mounted TVs throughout. Beach Access #10-S is conveniently located across from the street (See Photos). Our Gopher Tortoise, Terri, resides onsite in the front yard. Please do not touch! Please Note: This property is NOT equipped with beach items such as chairs, toys, coolers, wagons, or umbrellas. We do supply beach towels and often times beach items do get left on the property from previous guests. We cannot ensure how many items will be available during your stay, as this is always subject to change. Beautiful location. Feel the pics overrate the property Great for family but a couple safety issues. Probably would not revisit this time of year. Be sure to visit the Jacksonville Zoo

Good location. The unit was very clean. Appliances relatively new. Nice view of ocean across the street. Lots of beach equipment available. Unit is quite dated and outside needs updated. (Painting, decks are dated, etc) Overall was a good place to stay

We found the house to be just as described. The location was perfect for us. Beach access is right across the road from the house. Found the Amelia Island Getaway Team to be very friendly. They checked in with us throughout our visit to ensure we were not experiencing any issue. They were great to work with! We would return to this house again.

We all really liked this home and would consider coming back when the weather is nicer. Unfortunately, we had a storm front come through during our stay so we couldn’t enjoy the beach, which was right across the street. We were stuck indoors most of the time, but this house made the bad weather tolerable. The only thing to know is that there’s really no yard to speak of. It’s just a lot of brush all around the house. Totally fine for a beach vacation though, IMO. The location as about a mile away from good dining in either direction too.

Great house for older kids- master on second floor. 3 bedrooms on first floor. Great location! Walk to beach with great view of the sunrise: short drive to restaurants and attractions. Would stay again!

Great location! Literally steps from a beach access point and a 10 min walk to the Greenway. Quiet section of beach. Close to great restaurants. The house was great! Nicely outfitted with everything you could need and *great* comfy beds. Excellent layout for inviting guests. What sets this apart was customer service. I didn’t need much, but they were immediately and effectively responsive. Have already booked my next stay😊

The people at Amelia Getaways were amazing. The house was the perfect size for our family. The location was right near the beach. There were a couple of issues with some pieces of furniture and it was fixed that same day that I texted them. Nick came by and fixed the problems even on a Saturday. I would rent from Amelia Getaways again in a heartbeat!

We rented this property for 4 day stay. Had total of 7 in our group. Location- perfect! The house was spacious and pleasantly decorated. The front balcony was perfect for breakfasts outside first thing in the morning or for listening to the waves in the evening. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked- dishes, pots and pans, bakeware, utensils and small electric appliances ( even a Crock-Pot!). Full size washer and dryer on sight ( they even had detergent). The bedrooms were large and had comfortable mattresses. There were three full baths which helped make showering and dressing for dinner out after beach time a quick process. There was even a closet from full of beach towels, chairs, toys etc . Only negatives- we found the place to be very warm, especially the master suite. Woke up several times a night drenched in sweat. We were perplexed by this because the AC ran cold and seemed to be working. Additionally this is a pet friendly rental however they should warn renters that the yard consists of basically dry mulch. No grass insight for the dogs to use for bathroom needs. It was very annoying having to walk sometimes two blocks to find a small patch not belonging to someone else's yard. May not be a problem for all pets but my dogs were not happy. And lastly... The construction trash from next door kept coming into the yard necessitating frequent picking up. Hopefully they finish building soon. Overall we had a lovely stay and were comfortable for the majority of the time. We would recommend the home. Perfect for family with children.
